Yani Tseng started this tourney like the one last week, with full steam ahead. She ended up winning by 4 strokes at -24, over Stacy Lewis & Australia's Nikki Campbell. Yani had a stellar bogey free final round with 9 Birdies to card another 63! With the win this week, Yani took over the World's #1 Ranking from Jiyai Shin.
Last years tournament winner Karrie Webb was not able to gain enough momentum, and finished in a pack tied for 9th place with -16. Australia's other popular golfer Katherine Hull, finished in a tie for 15th place at -14.
Christina Kim finished with a final round 68, to put her in the tie for 9th place at -16.
Congrats to Yani! It looks like she is starting to fill those trophy shelves in the house at Lake Nona that she purchased over a year ago from Annika Sorenstam. What a way to start the 2011 season, with back to back WINS!
While the LETour goes onto New Zealand for their next tourney, the LPGA will be in Thailand before the ladies travel on to Singapore after that. The good thing is.... that this weeks coverage should be shown on GC as follows: 18th 12:30 - 2:30 PM ET and then 3:00 - 5:00 PM ET on both the 19th and 20th.
