This week will be one of the LPGA's 4 Majors of the season. It will be at beautiful Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont,PA. This will be a 72 hole format and the course plays 6598 yards, Par 71. This event is the longest running one on the LPGA at that, even though it is not a co-sponsored LPGA Tour event. It began in 1946. Current defending champion Eun-Hee Ji will be back to defend her title. Last year she defeated Candie Kung by only 1 stroke.
I am pleased to say that FANS can follow this great tourney with television coverage back this week (after not having any at the exciting JFOCC)!
