His name is Tiger Matthew T. So, TMT! Matthew is what the rescue called him. He was rescued by a local group who took in several pets from the Pilots n Paws Program. This little guy was brought from the Gulf area where they have many many displaced animals from the economy, etc.
He and his sisters were left abandoned behind a clothing store. They were then taken to a shelter and on the euthanization list. Luckily, a local rescue took in several from the Pilots n Paws program!
He just arrived via small aircraft on the 18th. When I found him on Petfinder, my heart clicked. Since the passing of my prior rescue in April after 14 yrs; I had a huge hole in my heart that needed to give love to another great companion. Thus, along came Tiger! He is currenty 10 1/2 - 11 weeks old. He had his first night in his new home with me lastnight. And, he did quite well in his crate at that!
He loves riding in the car, and of course accompanied me to Starbucks this am! Here are a few more pics from last evening. I'm sure I will have updates and pics to follow in the future.
As always, Please Spay & Neuter your pets! Never abandoned them and make sure they get the chance at a no-kill shelter or a rescue. Thank Goodness this little guy did! THANK YOU Pilots, for your donated time, planes & fuel to be part of this great rescue program!
