Nationwide, the title sponsor for the tour on the way to the PGA will call it quits after two more seasons. That leaves Finchem with a job ahead of him. Nationwide made the announcement after making the decision to become the sponsor for The Memorial, founded and hosted by Jack Nickalaus.
Originally known as The Ben Hogan Tour, the Nationwide is the developmental team under the PGA. The sponsor for the Memorial who is departing, is Morgan Stanley; who have been keeping a low profile these days. Nationwide will begin their sponsorship of the Memorial next season, even though they will still be title sponsor of the tour in boy 2011 & 2012.
This is unfortunate after their 10 hrs of sponsorship however, in today's economy choices have to be made that sometimes do not please everyone. At least they have two seasons yet to find that new Title Sponsor.
