Christie Kerr keeps working toward one goal....WIN this Major!

The one to watch this week has been Christie Kerr. Shes played in 10 majors since her 2007 win at the US Open. She's had 6 of which she finished in the top 10. From her win 2 weeks ago at The State Farm Classic, shes been on a mission. She finished today's round at -3, to bring her to -13 and lengthening her lead to 8 strokes. Yes 8! Shes led every round and she will be tough to beat tomorrow, with the momentum of her game and cushion of 8 strokes.

Christie switched to a new putter, which she brought out at the State Farm Classic. We all know it suited her nicely! Her game has matured and her putting has always been one of her greatest talents. She actually refers to this new putter as a " heat sinking missle", and I think she is spot on with that title! Her personal title she strives for and one which I believe she will achieve, is the Ladies No. 1 golfer in the world.

Mika Miyazato has a great game going in just her 2nd year on the LPGA Tour, as well as Jimin Kang,Song-Hee Kim, Azahara Munoz and several others. Meaghan Francella is tied for 8th after 3 rounds; and could be working towards a top 10 finish for her first this year. Its good to see Jiyai Shin back after her emergency appendectomy just two weeks ago, while at the State Farm Classic. She will definitely be playing hard through these next few tourneys, to hold onto her No. 1 title. Favorite Christina Kim was tied after todays round in 19th place alongside Yani Tseng, Sakura Yokomine, & Amy Yang.

I was personally sad to see Karen Stupples (@KStuppkes) and Jean Reynolds miss the cut on Friday. Karen, who celebrated her Birthday on Thursday was back out to grind it out this am in practice. So, I shout out to her and hope she'll come back next week on fire. I also look forward to seeing @TheJeanReynolds back in the groove with her yummy smelling caddie....@thetourcaddieog (better known as Paulie)! I'm still not telling ppl that you carry a PINK bag! Hehe And, I do Love the Pink Pure Silk Golf Bag!
