That didn't happen. We were pulled off the course I believe around 3:15-3:30 sunday when lightening was near. The horn blew and we first went into the safe houses before being transferred back to the clubhouse for shelter. This storm front soaked everything! By 4:40 pm, the players were sent back out onto the range and practice greens. Within another 30 min, we were called back to the clubhouse due to another "severe" storm fastly approaching.
Once that passed through, tournament officials suspended the days play.
Play was to resume at 7:00 a.m. today to complete the 4th and final round. And it was completed, with Christie Kerr winning by 1 stroke! Congrats to Christie who fought through an upper respiratory cold all week to be the leader after both the 3rd & final round completed today.
