At Locust Hill outside of Rochester, NY in Pittsford is the scene of this week's Major. Fresh off a win two weeks ago after two days of suspended play in Springfield, IL our leader now after round two, is again Christie Kerr..... is this Deja vu?
Christie has been on fire with her play and maintains her lead after two rounds. She is at the top of her game and now has a 5 stroke lead over Mika Miyazato & Inbee Park, who are tied for 2nd place currently. Brittany Lincicome & Amy Yang are tied for 4th, 6 strokes behind Christie Kerr. With a 5 stroke lead after the first two rounds, she's setting herself up with a nice cushion per se.
Tomorrows 3rd round will be moved up to 7:00 am tee time due to inclement weather due to come in later in the day. I don't know about everyone else however, I am really getting tired of this rain! Let's hope the weather allows us to see what happens on this beautiful course through the weekend.
