This tourney boasts magnificent fairways that overlook the shores of the Mississipi River, in Silvis, IL. The last several years have resulted in a large number of todays top PGA players. The tournament has arranged for a charter that takes those players on a direct flight to the British Open following Sunday's final round. Just last week, this enticed KJ Choi to commit and of which he requested 4 seats on the charter. It is merely one more thing that the tournament and Title Sponsor John Deere, have done to accommodate a great field of players.
The course is in great playing shape, and I have been fortunate to play this coursse a handful of times. I won't disclose my scores on the grounds that I would suffer great embarrassment.
Just a few hours drive west of Chicago, and connected to several major interstates. Also, home of The Quad City International Airport in adjoining City of Moline,IL.
