This week, , Ohio will be home of the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Ckassic. Highland Meadows Golf Club will be the host of this great event. Unfortunately, this event is not televised. Seriously networks, you have some explaining to do regarding this! Apparently, some players opted out of this weeks tournament due to the Open next week, which often happens on the Golf Tours due to the travel and prep involved. Hats off to all of the ladies out there playing this week. One of my favorites and Tech Savvy Christina Kim was in town for this event and had a book signing earlier this evening, which was broadcast via U Stream. @TheTourCaddieOG was there to offer his support as well as many others. You can find pairings and leader boards at LPGA.com And as always, I will try to blog each evening with updates.
Additionally, Rhode Island Country Club was host to the CVS Caremark Charity Classic, June 27-29th. Ricky Barnes & JB Holmes edged out Brett Quigley & Angela Stanford for this years title, with an impressive 13 under 58 for todays final round. Juli Inkster & Boo Weekly finished in a tie for 3rd Place with Suzann Pettersen & Hunter Mahan.
